Three days in the eternal city...

Are you thinking of traveling to Rome but think that three days won't be enough?
With cheap tickets almost all year round, it allows you to find at least 3 days and with a flight that does not exceed 2 hours to be in the capital of Italy.
Certainly more days would allow you to experience the eternal city better, but below we will write how you can divide your days and see the most sights, taste the local cuisine and have fun.
Where to stay?
First let's clarify that all the attractions in Rome are located in its historical center and its surroundings. So you will walk to everything, since the metro of the city does not pass under the center but peripherally.
Budget hotels if you want to stay close to the center you will find around the Termini train station and usually the hotels in the center are old and not particularly renovated, with exceptions of course. We suggest you look outside the center by following the metro line so that you can transfer quickly and easily to the main station Flaminio or Barberini and the hotel is Vfm or the Trastevere area.
Via del Corso the street with attractions
via del Corso starts from the central square Piazza del Popolo and ends at Piazza Venezia.
To the right and left of the street you will find the most important attractions of the city such as:
Piazza del Popolo & Villa Borghese
Mausoleo di Augusto
Piazza di Spagna
Palazzo Borghese
Colonna di Marco Aurelio & Il Tempio di Adriano
Fontana di Trevi
Pantheon & Piazza Navona
Galleria Doria Pamphilj & Piazza Venezia
Colosseo - Palatino -Roman Forum
Once you reach Piazza Venezia behind it you will see the Colosseo dominating along with the Roman market and the Palatino.
If you want to visit them, we recommend that you have already booked a combo ticket for the 3 attractions in order to avoid the huge queues.
If you want to book only tickets, click here. If you are interested in having a guided tour along with the tickets, click here
If you're thinking of not visiting the above inside, we recommend seeing them as soon as the sun goes down as they are wonderfully lit up.
Vatican city & Museum
Third area around the Vatican, with the nearest Metro stop Ottaviano you will head to the magnificent Castel Sant'Angelo and go up to drink an espresso and admire the view of the city and the Tiber river that crosses it.
Within walking distance you will find the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums.
The queue at the Museum is usually long, so we recommend booking tickets online and remember that every Sunday it is closed. If you want skip the lines and buy ticket click here
Trastevere - Isola Tiberina
Colorful Trastevere is a modern, bohemian area that retains its centuries-old working-class roots. It's known for traditional and innovative trattorias, craft beer pubs and craft shops, as well as casual bed and breakfasts and budget hotels. From the passeggiata (stroll) before dinner until late, crowds flock to Piazza di San Calisto and Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, perhaps Rome's most romantic district since it was chosen for the filming of the movie 'To Rome with Love' (2012)
If you visit the area we recommend:
Hostaria Da Corrado for Authentic carbonara
Pizzeria Dar Poeta for an amazing pizza romana
Bar San Calisto for a glass of wine or a beer
