We travel in this post to cosmopolitan Dubai, one of the 7 united emirates. Certainly a trip to Dubai will not make you experience the ultimate experience of the Middle East since we are talking about the metropolis of the Arab world with a western design and western-style entertainment.
It is a city made from scratch ultra-modern and with some of the most impressive buildings in the world. The trip to Dubai is not necessarily an expensive trip since most of its attractions can be admired simply by walking next to them, you will certainly find the most expensive hotels in the world but also hotels within everyone's budget. Getting around the city is done mainly by taxis, which are quite economical. In the hotel lobbies you will also find all the excursions you can take (desert safari, dinner cruise, city tours, guided tour of the bazaars of old Dubai).

The main attractions we recommend are:
1) Burj Khalifa & Burj Arab (the tallest building in the world and the only 7-star hotel) for tickets click here
2) Dubai mall - emirates mall (and not necessarily for shopping since they are attractions in themselves
3) A trip to old Dubai which is probably the most authentic sunrise experience with traditional bazaars where you will see them selling spices and jewelry as well as many replica products
4) Excursion to the desert with food and dancing under the stars
5) Walk to Souk Madinat Jumeirah (the Venice of the Middle East) where you can dine with a view of the Burj Arab
6) If it's not summer, swim in one of the many beaches with the warm waters of the gulf
7) To admire from a high building the artificial palm tree where at the top you will find the impressive hotel Atlantis the Palm (where we visited probably the best water park we have seen)

If you have days you can take a one-day trip to neighboring Abu Dhabi
Tips: Low cost airline has very cheap tickets to Abu Dhabi where the distance to Dubai by taxi costs around €50 or less by airbus from the airport.
