Bologna - Italy food lovers

A journey with history and incredible flavors

How will you go?
  • The trip to Bologna for the residents of Athens and Thessaloniki is now easier than ever, since with direct flights almost every day and in just 2 hours you will be transported to the "culinary" capital of Italy.

  • If you wish to travel by boat then it is more than 2 hours from the port of Ancona.

  • It is also connected by train to most of its neighboring big cities in Italy such as Milan, Florence, Venice.

Accommodation

You will find several hotels and rooms in and around the historic center, but if you rent or visit by car, we would suggest staying outside because parking in the historic center is difficult.

Our choice was the Suite Hotel Elite, which also had its own free parking since we had rented a car to explore the surrounding area.

What to see in Bologna?

  • Bologna has the largest historic center in Europe as well as the oldest university in the Western world. Pass through its gates and walk through its countless narrows painted in purple. If you want to take a guided tour, click here
