One of our favorite trips that lasted less than 4 days and we visited Brussels, Ghent and Bruges !! We tried wonderful Belgian beers with their favorite recipe "steamed mussels with french fries" and at the end the largest collection of chocolates !!! By train we went in 1 hour one day to Ghent and Bruges where we consider it to be one of the most romantic medieval cities (they do not unfairly call Bruges, Venice in the north) ... If you travel low cost flight you will land in Charleroi where from outside you will find buses waiting to take you to the center of Brussels for about 13-15 €.

Trains in Brussels connect all of Europe. When you arrive at the train station it will remind you of an airport with connections Germany - France - Holland etc.
